We stayed at Geiser Grand in Baker City passing through in a snow storm trying to get to Boise. We were tired after driving several hours and wanted a light meal and some adult beverages. We put our bags in our room and went right down to the cafe. The waiter grumbled as he passed us, “Oh great now I’ll never get to go home.” We ordered salads. Wilted lettuce literally 2 slivers of carrots and a small rotten tomato on top… this was mine believe it or not my husbands was worse. Our drinks were watered down, we asked for an extra shot in each drink which set the bartender off, she was incredibly rude, reluctantly gave us watered down shots. Oh it gets better. We stayed in room 201. Pulled back the blankets, someone had obviously been on her period as there was a lot of dried blood and pubic hairs in the bed. We called down for housekeeping explained the situation and we were told, “We are short staff and will change the bedding in the morning.” I stripped the bed, through the filthy bedding in the hall went to our car, brought in blankets and remade the bed. We were grossed out and didn’t sleep well. When checking out we discovered that our salads were $28 a piece and our drinks added up to $52… 2 drinks. We asked for a discount on our filthy room and we’re denied.
