Kelly landing River Rd. Manotick, Sat. night we had a hour and half wait. After waiting this long a party of 8 come in and get seated with no wait before all other parties waiting to be seated between an hour to 2 hours. My husband spoke to the hostess and asked why and she said because they were willing to split up. At this time there was at least 2 group of 6, 2-3 groups of 2, 2 groups of 3 waiting to be seated, who had been waiting at least an hour. The owner came out and spoke to my husband saying he did not appreciate him raising his voice to the hostess. He ask the hostess if he raised his voice with no response. The owner them told my husband this is unacceptable behaviour and he had to sit down and if they heard anything else from him he would be asked to leave. They then proceed to sit 2 people at table for 4 when there is a table for 2 waiting. The owner was extremely rude and never apologized. Another person from are part spoke to the owner expressing they were a regular and we were not giving the option if we wanted to split up. They then said they could accommodate us if we split up. Another member of the party spoke to the Owner and expressed his feelings of his bad customer service. The owner then told him had been drinking, how could he have been when he was the driver of the boat. The owner aid he would not serve our group and we had to leave and if we did not leave he would call the cops. Also, at this time the owner said my husband made the hostess cry. He again asked the hostess if he made her cry. Again no response from the hostess. How could any of us be drinking when we are sitting outside to wait to be seated for an hour and a half. They don't serve any drinks for people waiting. The owner was extremely rude and never apologized.
