I recently dined at a well-established French restaurant in Ottawa known for its authentic and pure French cuisine, reminiscent of a bygone era. The Duck Confit and Rack of Lamb were prepared to perfection, offering generous portions and rich flavors that stood out among the fusion cuisine trend in the city. Despite the lackluster dessert options, the overall experience was delightful, with attentive service and reasonable prices for the quality of food served.

Best high end comfort food in the Ottawa/Gatineau region by far. I hope they never close. Try the beef tartar as an appetizer, the veal with wild mushroom sauce (they use morels) as an entree and the fabulous cheesecake from the charming dessert cart.
