My husband and I stopped there yesterday and ordered full meals. Our meals were the worst we have ever gotten anywhere. I had the country Fried steak meal and my husband had the sirloin tips. The meat was tough and even the toast was cold and tough. The food has not been good the last couple of times we’ve been there but we keep hoping it will be better. We have eaten there many times over the years and it was one of our favorite places. The only thing in either meal that was eatable was the baked potato. That’s it for us!!

We ate here on Sunday, February 27, 2022. We both ordered the Jumbo Sirloin, I got a baked sweet potato and he got mashed potatoes with his meal. I ordered my steak cooked Medium, he ordered his Medium well. We were disappointed that there wasn't a buffet or a salad bar. Both our steaks were over cooked, dry and tasteless. His mashed potatoes were instant. My baked potato was good. The Texas Toast was stale, cold, and not buttered, plus my toast had blood splattered on it. I get that it is post Covid, but this is just poor management.

Spent $36 for a meal of salad, steak, cheeseburger and baked potatoes. Could not eat steak, too tough. Steak looked like it had been sitting around a long time - bacon too! Figured they were left over from the breakfast buffet. Will not go back. Not a good choice for steak. Salad was okay, but $36.00??? Nope, lost a customer!

Julie Drain and her staff did a fantastic job coordinating our Christmas luncheon on Tuesday December 13th.
The entrees were served in a timely manner for our 25 business friends who attended. Ann Miller was a very attentive server catering to every ones luncheon needs.

Ordered my steak well done. Noticed as I was eating it that it was red in the middle. I told the waitress and she never offered me a replacement or my money back. WOW......really ? You would think they would offer to do something. I'll never go back after that kind of treatment.

Food and salad bar good but for some reason now they keep serving old, hard, cold, baked potatoes that have been sitting around for a LONG time. They used to have the best baked potatoes in town, have been very disappointed every time we go in the evening we are served these nasty potatoes, last visit everyone around us were complaining about them. We don't mind paying that much for good food but we can go to Texas Roadhouse for the same price and have a freshly baked potato with better cuts of steak!

Obviously, the poor review was written before the new owners had time to repair everything after taking over. I am going there tonight for a b day party with family and am a hard person to please when I am paying. This restaurant has improved 100 per cent since my first visit. I like this one, Lone Star, and Da Vinci's, still have to make some rounde but this one is tops.

The new ownership has done an amazing job. It is clean (spotless). Seniors can get a shrimp dinner on the senior menu for less than 9.00. with great sides. The shrimp is large butterfly shrimp, and people that have visited since the new ownership are thrilled.

As far as I know--there IS NOT a Western Sizzlin' steak house on Neal St.in Parkersburg,West Virginia. After eating at a LUBECK WV SIZZLIN' I was very dissapointed ! ! !
After walking to the salad bar, I tripped on the edge of carpet that was flipped up on the end. I spoke with management just to mention that spot was dangerous and tape or something should be put there. He picked up carpet, turned it over and said "THERE" Another piece of carpet, right in front of potato bar had the same situation and once again I mentioned to management and that rug was turned over, just like the other--THIS DID NOT MAKE A SAFE SITUATION. This was not taken care of. I mentioned to manager that I wasn't the only person with a disability (5 knee surgeries and 2 shoulder surgeries) that could take a tumble. I actually stated "I have tripped on one rug and had to be very careful on the other--I am sure WESTERN SIZZLIN' WOULD NOT LIKE TO HEAR FROM ME" ! ! ! ! This restaurant was not very clean and the entry and exit doors were filthy with finger prints. THANK YOU FOR OPPORTUNITY TO HELP THIS RESTAURANT TO BE CLEANER AND "SAFER" Their food is OK but knowing the other conditions exsist makes it not as appealing.
