Don't judge this place by its exterior appearance as just another restaurant in a resort area. Nestled off the 476 and 80 intersection on a secluded access road, this eatery in the cozy Mountain Laurel resort and spa has been serving up delicious farm-to-table dishes since April 2015 under new ownership and chef. The food is outstanding, with fresh ingredients that truly shine, though the decor could use a refresh to match the quality of the cuisine. I was initially unsure about trying it due to the lack of reviews, but after indulging in their generous desserts, perfectly cooked pork loin and steak, flavorful pepper dumplings, and fresh salad, I can't wait to return. The service was warm and welcoming, and the addition of cocktails and Bloody Marys made it a perfect stop before hitting the road. I'll definitely be back for more on my next trip through the Poconos.
