Just recalled that I never rated this caterer who provided catering for an employee picnic. Caterer was on time with the BBQ truck. Jason and his assistant set up quickly, they were pleasant, accommodating and hospitable! But mostly, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! It is difficult to please everyone and typically someone has a complaint, but not this time! Everyone absolutely loved the pulled chicken (best I ever tasted), the hamburgers and all of the sides. In fact, folks lined up and returned for more! The provisions were ample and extras were left for anyone who couldn't make it to the truck on time. Using this caterer for all of our special occasions! Try Papa Wood Catering, you won't go wrong.

I was at an event in Mars with my two young children. We stopped at stick city for the food truck. The female worker was rude immediately. I asked her for several specific items and she snapped at me yelling, “read the menu!” I ordered 35$ worth of food and gave a 5$ tip. There was no bbq sauce. After seeing she filled it, I picked one up and she yelled, “don’t take that!” My table was literally 6 feet away with my children and my friend’s children sitting there. I said you don’t have to yell at me like I’m a child. I just gave you forty dollars for food. I brought my food back to the crowded line and put sauce on it. I returned to the table with my children. As I was eating it, my friend noticed a man standing behind me for about a minute. My friend thought he was scoping out what I ordered so he may get an idea of what to order. As I was eating, that man slammed a 20$ bill on the table and snatched my food from me and said, “find something else to eat!” He then threw it in the garbage. We sat in shock. When he walked back I asked him if this was over the bbq sauce and he said, read the sign! I was appalled by this behavior. Not only did I lose my dinner, but my kids did too!! My kids had no idea why the man took their food. .. my daughter cried and my wife had to take her up the street to a vendor to get her something to eat. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a restaurant let alone a setting such as this. I was embarrassed and extremely disappointed in a human being’s behavior. I asked my friends if I said anything that could have been misconstrued or misunderstood and they said absolutely not. Their meals were ruined by the experience as was their two young children … I lose my faith in people when you take your family out for a night and leave feeling this way. I would not recommend based on their conduct, I would not recommend based on my friend’s review of the food. I hope Stick City cuts them from the rotation of food trucks because we love visiting them but will not tolerate being treated so poorly.
