Went there today with my wife and son. I'm a big BBQ fan and have a smoker of my own. Ordered 2 Pitmaster combos and a brisket sandwich with three drinks.
All were to come with complimentary cornbread. Not one cornbread was had. To add insult to injury, son wanted a lemonade, which we paid $3 for, but we were told they ran out of. He chose water instead and they brought him tap water. So $3 for tap water.
Combo was a sampler of a chicken drumstick, pulled pork, one rib and two pieces of brisket. Chicken was over cooked and skin was black. Rib was fatty and meat was dry. One slice of brisket was good, but the second slice could not be called brisket. It was all fat with a sliver of actual meat. Pulled pork was the best part as long as you sauced it up. Otherwise it was dry.
Wife did enjoy the brisket sandwich, but did not like the slaw on it so she removed it. Son liked the Mac and cheese.
Overall this was average at best. $80 for lunch for three people is a bit much as sample size was small. I get with inflation I should expect higher prices, but when I am willing to pay a premium price the food should be great and portions should be reasonable. We left knowing there would be no desire to return.
