Once upon a time, Ashton was a great deli with delicious sandwiches and beers from around the world. They sold microbrews way before microbrews became popular. It's sad to see Ashton today. Local customers come in and mumble and generally treat the new owners rudely. The microbrews have long gone flat, replaced by Colt 45. The deli section is closed. The aisles of canned goods and sundries has disappeared. They sell junk food, cigarettes, cheap malt liquor and lottery tickets. Sad.
