CAPRI PIZZA DOWNTOWN JOHNSTOWN PA 9/3/14
I had a half hour to kill today, so I went in there for the buffet. The sign says "please be seated", so I sat in the middle of the table area near the entrance. Nothing happened. Nobody came to take my order. So, I moved to the middle of the restaurant to be noticed and sat down again. Plenty of seating, and although there were plenty of employees running around the dining area, nothing ever happened. So, I thought, ok perhaps you just got to go get your food and they'll come around whenever they get around to it. So I did. Got a piece of pizza, and sat down. (They have a couple of thin pizzas, rotten looking pasta type things, and HOT DOGS on the buffet) I looked at the table, no napkins. No forks, knives, spoons, etc.. Only spoons at the buffet. I actually needed a fork because the pizza is very thin, and if there's toppings on it, you can't just pick it up, the toppings will just fall off, so needed a fork. No forks. So I had to ask an employee for one by going up to the buffet. Finally, I got one. Sat back down. Started to get thirsty. So I was just sitting there looking at all the waitresses meandering around wishing one of them would come to my table. It never happened. Well, it was time to go. So I went up to pay and they asked me for my ticket. I had to tell them nobody ever gave me one. They asked me what did you have to drink? I told them nothing. Nobody ever came over. The "waitress" actually told me, "Oh, sorry, I never saw you". I said, "BOTH TIMES? BECAUSE I MOVED TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT SO THAT YOU COULD SEE ME." She just kept saying that she didn't see me. I said "well how could you see people in the back if you couldn't even see me at 2 different locations within the establishment?" No reply to that. Then I said "So i could have been justified just walking out since I was never there in the first place, right"? That's when I was given the bill. $6.35 and I handed her my card. She had to go to the back where the machine was to ring it up and then come back and ring it up again in the register. Now why in the hell would a restaurant have the machine back there? You got to go to the front and ring it in again anyway, so hello? What is this? Anyway, that killed 3 minutes or so while I was standing there. Meanwhile, others are starting to gather in a line to go through the same crap just to pay.
Anyway, believe it or not, there is another pizza place in Downtown Johnstown that I've never been to, but instead of Capri's I will go there from now on.
I had to give it at least a star because I was forced to by this website. But I don't really give it that much. I give it a negative 2 and a half stars.

The new Capri restaurant in Westmont is excellent! The decore is pleasant and clean, and their menu is extensive. The service is better than most restaurants serving food in the Johnstown area.
