I went just to see how good the food really was. I had the "bucket of clams", a few beers and the wings. The food was just "ok". They advertised October Fest beer - which the bartender said they were out of. The clams were so tiny you could eat them with a tweezer - albeit, they said there were 3 dozen of them. They were tasty nonetheless. No bargain for over 11.00 an order (less at happy hour). Prior to ordering them I asked the bartender to have the kithcen pick out the largest ones. She agreen but I received a mesh bag of tiny clams you generally get at mediocre "seafood restaurants". There was no possible way the kitchen could have "picked" the largest and she should have just told me that up front.
The wings were small (order of "ten wings"). I didn't get 10 wings but 10 wing pieces which if you fitted them together amounted to 5 wings. They were small and rather dry although they did have sauce on them.
All in all, my bill came to $40 bucks with the beers.
The bar and restaruant was surprisingly clean. I was impressed with the look of the place. I will go back and have the buffet. It costs half of what I paid for appetizers and features quite a bit. I am a blue claw crab lover and and a calamari officianado. I'lll give the crabs a try but with my love for good calamari I will place a definate hold on that!
