Have been to this place several times. Breakfast was good. Maggie, who worked at Michael's greeted us and she's great. Went for an early dinner with my husband and did not know any of the staff but I gave to say, service is very slow. Waited 25 min for my cup of luke warm soup and his turkey club sandwich. Decided to give another chance. I wanted to place a take out order and told to walk back to bar as the woman at front desk has no way to place order. Asked for Mgr but none on-site. Rick came up to speak with me and was happy with my constructive criticism. Since I have physical handicap issues and was using a cane it sometimes difficult for me to walk. My husband is also handicapped and he was waiting in the car. During our conversation I told Rick that a lot of people are commenting about the lack of service, loud noise to name a few. I ordered a meatball sub for my husband and a chicken steak with mushrooms and fried onion. I repeated to Rick several times that I am allergic to beef. Food allergies are extremely serious and should be a major part of their training.. The woman at the front desk also heard me say this. When I arrived home and opened the container they gave me beef. I called the restaurant and pressed the number to be connected. A man answered and identified himself as John Tallman. As I attempted to tell him my issue he said "I am ONLY an investor and I have to call the restaurant". I told him that I did that and he just hung up. I called back and pressed a different number and Rick answered the phone. I told him what happened and he apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or another sandwich. At this point I was hungry and since I am diabetic I needed something to eat. Instead of offering to send the food around the corner to my house, he said I could come back and they would make another sandwich. I was charged extra for the add ons but did not see any mushrooms or onions.
It was 5:30 PM and only 1 occupied booth in the dining room. All we hear is that they opened the restaurant before they were ready and they are STILL working out the kinks.
