The Monroe has amazing home-cooked food with huge portions and a menu packed with great options like the French Club, build-your-own omelet, and hand-battered fried fish. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better, plus there's plenty of parking and a nice bar area to chill in. I love how everything feels fresh and made from scratch, which is such a relief compared to those chain spots with reheated meals.

I was there 12-23. My friend ordered the wedding soup. She found a fly in it. Just her drink was taken off her bill. Very disgusted and disappointed
