***BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!!***

do NOT even think about eating here. this is one of the worst restaurants on the planet. i'm not kidding. we've given them a few chances and shame on us. the worst was one night for the Super Bowl we ordered close to $100 worth of food for a party, and had to throw it all away it was so gross. what they called chicken cheesesteaks were just nasty. their wings were inedible. they don't use "normal" ingredients in their stromboli, etc., which makes everything taste weird & watery. the best things we got out of that order, were the pepper poppers, AND WE DIDN'T EVEN ORDER THEM!!! they didn't give us some chicken app that we ordered, but gave us THOSE instead. how can you mix up a chicken app with PEPPER POPPERS?!?!

don't even start me about the funky pasta that they use. we tried to order some actual DINNERS another time, and they come over or with pasta. it has some funky nasty taste to it. 1 dish was a red sauce and another was a white sauce, so it WAS the pasta. when pasta costs $1 a box, how can you go out of your way to find pasta for even cheaper that just isn't able to be eaten??? walk down the shopping center to ahart's for god's sake, and buy your patrons pasta that can be eaten!!!!!

like i mentioned above, they can't even get orders right, or cook them fast no matter how small or big. to top it off, THEY DON'T CARE. they assume that most people eating there are weekenders and/or renters of some sort, so they don't give a crap about if your order is right, tastes good, or GOD FORBID - doing anything about it to fix it.

if going there to eat, forget it - it's not any better. what they call a salad bar is a poor excuse for a few pieces of lettuce thrown together, and always seems old. it's dark in there and for good reason - it's gross and you will feel gross sitting there. the service is not great, and even still, the food is still not good even if you're actually AT the place.

JUST STAY AWAY!!! there are other places where you can get MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better food. you just have to be willing to drive a bit further. believe me, it's WELL WORTH IT.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!! NEVER!!!!

PS - if i could have i wouldn't have even given them 1 star at all that's how bad this place is. the word "terrible" doesn't even cut it.

how about we go with: PUTRID, AWFUL, DISGUSTING, NASTY...and.....THE WORST POSSIBLE EVER!!!!!

so consider the long review i wrote, and this one as well, to be NO STARS that's how bad this place is.

JUST STAY THE HELL AWAY!!!

PSS - i completely agree with the other person that left the other bad review. everything he or she said is 100% dead on.

and again i agree that whoever left that BS review and said the pizza was good, and gave this CRAPHOLE 5 stars - without a DOUBT either works there or owns this POS place.

NOTHING they make tastes good, or like food. like i already mentioned, we gave them a few tries, and shame on US for that. it was only 3 times and it was over the course of 3 years - thinking they would get better - but they just never do.

i guess i should have done this a long time ago. sorry for all of you who have eaten there and gone thru the misery we did. i wish i would have warned you sooner!!!

just go somewhere else, or go to ahart's and buy something to cook!!! at least you'll know you're actually eating REAL FOOD!!

Absolutely DO NOT got to Monty's Pizza. The inside of the building is ALWAYS empty, and for good reason. The "salad bar" if you can call it that, is a cart with dried up, rotten looking vegetables. The lighting in the building is awful, probably to cover up what the food really looks like.

I ordered three pizzas, it was a dead night, and they still took 45 minutes to get them finished. I don't mind waiting, but the girl told me they'd be ready in 20. Now, I also wouldn't mind all that if the pizza was actually GOOD. However, it had the consistency of a leather shoe, with obviously cheap cheese and nasty sauce that was almost "crunchy" in some bites. The crust is chewy, hard to bite, and probably indigestible.

I never write reviews, but I thought that people deserve to know not to go here. If you're randomly in the area, or thinking of getting food at Monty's, PLEASE, for your own sake, DO NOT. You're mind and body will regret it. The place is a dump, and the food tastes like trash.

I didn't see ONE person wearing gloves while making food. BLECH!

PS. Whomever wrote the other review here for "Monty's Pizza" probably works there. NOBODY thinks that Monty's is good. Even if you're on drugs, just get your grub at Ahart's or WaWa nearby. Nothing can make this "food" taste like food!

review_stars 10/19/2010 - great portions and big slices
i eat here when in the area. the pizza and subs are very good. there pizza is outstanding. there very genourous with the cheese and sauce. ive been to many places where the pizza is dried up with hardly no sauce or cheese but montys always makes it great tasting.
