I really Miss the Former Mashed Potatoes . They were Buttery and Out of this World 👍‼️(That downgraded my review)

Food is always good. Don’t always give dinner rolls unless you ask. Food is hot and tasty especially mashed potatoes. Also a great selection of pies

I've been patronizing this diner for over 60 years; since I was a child. I always enjoyed the meals including the breakfasts. However, Sunday 9/20/20 my husband and I stopped for dinner knowing we would have a great meal and dessert. Boy, were we disappointed. The food was definitely not the same. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and the gravy was not what is used to be. The roast beef was dry and the gravy was different also. This was the first time we were back since before the Covid 19 outbreak. We hesitate to go back again.

8/28/2020 Stopped for lunch with a friend. Sue waited on us. She was very friendly and did a great job. Checked on us several times. Food was not rushed. Really enjoyed our food. Very glad we stopped in. You need more waitresses like her.

I have been visiting this dinner since the mid 1950's when my girl, now my wife, stop by for a berger and milk shake after the Blue Ridge movie was over. How things have changed over the years. Today Jan. 12, 2020 we stop to have our favorite meal for dinner. What a surprise. My favorite green lima beans is now canned baby lima. I believe the can would taste better. We also enjoy their fresh baked apple tart pie when in season. But again another surprise when we got home. The size is about 3/4 of what it was previous.
I believe we all understand that prices may increase due to higher cost of goods these days. But reducing the QUALITY or QUANTITY is unacceptable to me. I'll revisit the diner in a month, the travel is 50 miles round trip from near the LV airport. If things haven't improved, I'll just find another good place to eat. This DIVORCE will be final.

We were there last week. Food wasn’t that warm. Hot roast beef sandwich-meat was tough. New owners won’t last long if they don’t improve

I have been eating at the Snydersville Diner since I was 6 years old and I'm 56 now. Love the place and food.

Ordered a steak for my wife and hamburger for me. Both were cooked to perfection. Served on ordinary plates and not a fancy presentation. Just like I would make at home. Will go back.
