I love this place. Yama and his wife have created a simple, homey place where you can comfortably sit at the sushi bar and delight in spectacular fare. I've only been eating sushi for a few years but once I tried Wakita's, I immediately tasted the difference when the chef is genuine and uses only the freshest ingredients. Yama has a delicate and creative touch, which shows up in the flavors, and we enjoy watching him work his art. It is a BYOB place, making it even better!

A wonderful suburban sushi bar that rivals any in the tri-state area. Amazing selection of super-fresh sushi and fantastic Japanese entrees. I dine there regularly and have never been disappointed. The chef, Yama, is a tradtional Japanese sushi chef, but never ceases to surprise me with new variations or flavors. I highly recommend this restuarant for any form of Japanese cuisine!!
