I drove in from Boston with friends and arrived just before kitchen closing time, but the staff kindly accommodated our group and provided prompt service. The food was generally tasty with generous portions, the atmosphere felt historic and cozy, and the servers were friendly and attentive throughout multiple visits.

Arriving in town from Boston to visit friends, we were surprised to find the kitchen closing soon after our 8:40pm arrival. Despite the late hour, the accommodating staff graciously allowed us to place our order within a tight timeframe. The warm and understanding service made our long 6.5-hour drive worth it, and the food, including my tasty Caesar salad and crispy chicken parm, was satisfying. The charming ambiance and attentive service at Harper's Tavern made it a memorable dining experience.
