The grand opening of NY Deli left me curious about their offerings, especially since the location next to NYPD pizza and the New York Gyro food cart seemed out of place in Philly. Despite the lack of a visible menu outside, the shop offers a variety of Boars Head meats and cheeses, allowing customers to customize their sandwiches for $4.99 or hoagies for a dollar more. While the fresh slicing of meats adds a nice touch to the experience, the absence of Herr's Red Hot chips and soups may leave some customers wanting more variety.
