e went several times when this place first opened, and the food was very yummy. We forgave some glitches in service, due to just opening. After some time passed, there was a definite decline in the quality of the meals. We gave up and stopped going. Then a Groupon popped up, so I said, "let's give them another try". We went on a weeknight, and it wasn't too busy, but the time to receive our food was very slow. Especially the one meal that was that night's "special", which took the longest, and arrived much later than everyone else's meal and was cold, and my son said wasn't tasty at all (he called it "nasty" and didn't even eat it). My pasta dish came with barely enough mediocre vodka sauce. My husband knows I like a lot of sauce so he asked the waiter if i could have an additional side of sauce for my pasta. He said, "it will be $2 extra, is that ok?" I said, "No, no thanks... I don't really want it." I then told my husband, after the waiter left, "I'm already paying $12 for a mediocre plate of spaghetti, I'm not paying $14 for it!" (no meat, literally just pasta and sauce... and they are going to fuss over some extra sauce?) The bread is very yummy. Our first batch was burned, the second batch barely cooked. (I had to ask for more bread, it wasn't offered. In fact, when I said no thanks to the sauce, i said "i'll pay for more bread, though, if i can, please?", and he said "there's no charge for more bread" and brought the undercooked batch out.) The kicker was when someone complained about something or was arguing over their bill, a man, who I assume was the owner, made a big scene out of it, raising his voice and yelling at the other man (customer) so the whole restaurant heard him. It was very unprofessional and nasty. A woman, who we guessed was the owner's mom, maybe? She apologized to everyone for the scene and told a waiter to give out mini cannolis as an apology to everyone. (we didn't want them, im not a fan of cannoli). The place has nice decor, but is small, and when the weather is cold, every time the front door opens, you get blasted with the cold air. And yes, they charge you an extra fee for paying by credit card. It is not well advertised, so easy to be surprised by it. (take cash with you, if you want to risk trying this place) Seems like the owner was maybe set up by his dad and was started out right, but he is not running it to the same standard, and is not professional. We will never return again. I suggest you don't waste your time and $ for questionable quality (hit or miss) and poor service (more often than not).

First time there tonight. The seafood pasta and the chicken caccitori was great. Zack was our waiter, a nice young man. We will be back for sure. Great job to the chef!
