First of all let's start with the roast pork sandwich. Quantity wise it's a good amount, but def. lacked in taste.Im glad I had added spinach , sharp provolone & long hots to make it somewhat flavorful. I even pulled a few pieces of pork from my sandwich to taste it before I took a bite with all the toppings but it was still blaaa..
Now the real gripe, I ordered my sandwich with long hots, I assumed they come on the sandwich like you would if you ordered it anywhere else. NOPE they give it on the side. I wish I was told that when I had placed my order. Now here's the real kicker, they charge $2.50 for the long hots which is fine by me as a business owner myself, I understand the cost of everything has gone up so no biggie. When I received my order I went and sat down in the semi covered area on the side and unwrapped my roast pork only to find no long hots on it, but were in a very small plastic container given on the side. See pic. for the container given. If you've been to John's and on the side they have ketchup,mayo,mustard dispensers and the containers next to them are the same size. SO I go back to the pickup window & wait another 6-8 mins. before someone comes & I explain to her I wanted long hots on my sandwich & not on the side not to mention the amount given for the price charged was straight up ridiculous. Even with other customers watching, the girl didn't even seem to care about what I was saying. Took back the long hots & just gave me my money back. I just let it be as I was hungry and realized that nothing good was going to come out of this. I'm no visitor from out of town. I have been visiting John's for many years. Not as often as I like due to the distance from my residence but I try whenever I can.
