If I could rate Native Wings in San Tan Valley, Arizona, as less than zero stars, I would. They have two new managers. The location manager said her name was Merissa...but am not sure she was telling the truth. I did not catch the new General Manager's name. Both appeared to be millennials so fair warning, this is going to be yet another review where the millennials are caught being wrong...yet blame everyone else and pretend like they are the ones who are the real victims because they got "offended."

We tried to make our order over the phone, no one answered. I drove all the way in and ordered in person. Simple order, 30 wings to go. I asked the two young gentlemen taking my order if we could get all drums. They said yes, people request that all the time...which we know to be true because we are among those people. We waited a long time. When I finally got our food, I hurried up and left because my kids were starving. My youngest was born with the most severe form of Spina Bifida. She just got out of a major surgery, and we were busy caring for her all day...so everyone was starving. I drove all the way back home and our order was wrong. Not only did they not give us all drums as they said they would, but the wings they did give us were tiny.

My wife was rightly enraged since our kids were so hungry, we had waited so long, I had driven so far and had just paid so much money for so little food of the wrong order. She tried to call back and get the matter fixed. I let the kids go ahead and eat the little we had while she tried to work it out over the phone. The manager would not budge. No refund, no discount...nothing. Not even an apology. On the contrary, somehow, it was OUR FAULT for being angry. She literally blamed my wife for being angry about the matter over the phone. And she said that in order for her to do anything, she said we would have to drive all the way back in with the food. The kids were starving so that wasn't happening.

We are longtime customers and used to like eating there so I drove all the way back, thinking that surely they would recognize how much money we spent there AND THAT THEY HAD INDEED SCREWED UP AND GIVEN US THE WRONG ORDER. I spoke to both the location manager and the general manager. To their credit, the two young men who took my order admitted in front of both managers that they had heard me order all drums and that they had agreed. SO RIGHT THERE, THIS RESTAURANT ADMITTED FAULT BECAUSE THEY JUST ADMITTED THEY HAD GIVEN US THE WRONG ORDER. THAT's NOT WHAT WE ORDERED. Yet somehow, these two managers still refused to make it right and again played the victim to me by saying I had "offended" them. They said I should not cuss at them...which I didn't do...and I am sure there are cameras there to confirm it. Yet even after the two workers told the truth, both managers still refused to refund our money or give us any discounts. They continued to blame the victim for being mean to them...like it was somehow OUR FAULT that they charged us an exorbitant amount of money for the wrong order and made us drive back and forth twice.

What these two so-called "managers" did to us was vicious and cruel. These managers took advantage of us and lied...and then blamed us for being upset and offending them, even after it was known that their people had screwed up and given us the wrong order. People like this should NEVER be in a position of authority. Both of them should be fired. We have been going there for 6 years. We will not darken the door of this place ever again as long as either of these managers work there...in any position. We will post this truthful review everywhere we can and tell every person who will listen exactly what this place did to us. To the owners of this place...you lost our business.
