Of all days, my birthday, my search for amazing sushi ended!! I found it! HARU SUSHI AND GRILL!! We moved to AZ 3 years ago and have come across decent sushi, but not great sushi, until tonight. It was delicious!! Between my son and I we did damage and it was all fantastic!! Every roll had perfect ingredients that was fresh and crisp. The fried rolls were mouth-watering! The ones with Avacados, the Avacados were the freshest I've had in a long time. I can't stress enough about the perfect ratio of ingredients in the rolls! They nailed it!! Our order also had teriyaki chicken which came with a large portion of veggies, all fresh and really good. We also had two orders of calamari tempura which was slightly tasteless, but it was cooked perfectly, which is almost more important if combined with the right sauce. (IMO) So, needless to say, this is now my go-to Sushi!! Thank you Haru Sushi, for rounding out the perfect birthday!!
