We stopped here as an alternative to our usual Chinese place since we needed to go to Cave Creek and it was 'on the way'. The place is an upscale place with cloth napkins even for lunch. There were not many people there but the soup bowl is twice the size of other lunch bowls of soup at any other Chinese restaurants we have been to and we have been to Chinese restaurants all over the US. It was very good soup and the entrees serving size was large as we both had leftovers. My husband had the shrimp and there were six where usually he gets five. The chicken is all white meat and they use no MSG. The price was good too as it was less than what we normally pay for lunch at other Chinese restaurants. Also they have a lunch menu seven days a week which we really liked. We may have to go out of our way to return as it was that good.

Bar none, the best Chinese food I've had ANYWHERE. From San Francisco, to New York City, this place beats them all, without anyone even coming close. Not sure why there are any stars less than 5 on these reviews. I guess those people like gristle meat and grade B cuts.

Try once and you'll be hooked. Our family has been going for almost 10 years and wouldn't have it any other way.

We have eaten here for over 10 years. I have 6 in my family and we all love it. The staff know us by name. Very friendly. Eat in is very relaxing. Great place to wind down. Food is tasty and fresh. Both the Chinese and Thai. I don't even call ahead. They are fast. My orders never take more than 10-15 minutes. I order in person. Why mess with phones we use them too much anyway.

I have been a 5 year customer. I eat there on average once every 3 weeks. I enjoy there food, its not the best but good in timeliness and quality over cost. They have been 100% food and service when I've dined in, always a good experience. That's where things go bad! They have screwed up the last 9 carryout orders in a row, 4 that I have informed them of. They have given me the wrong soup. I have even unpackaged orange chicken with no sauce that meal was almost worthless i salvaged that with BBQ sauce and called then J-nugetts . They made the green curry a 0 and the orange chicken a 10 instead. I'm not picky realy. The phone calls to J Chens where always easy, pleasant even with sorry's and promises of credits that were always lost. I informed them face to face today as I inspected my 9th and final wrong carryout order I begged them to fix it. I told them quite politely I would be forced by sanity and principle to never eat there ever again. I payed and even gave a tip. I asked 1 last time if they were okay with there dealings with me. They thanked me said yes and have a nice day! There food well be missed. They only made me sick once not bad for all meals i've had there.

This was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. When I called and they said the food would be ready in 10 minutes I should have know. Imaging cafeteria/buffet Chinese and thats what this place is. The food was flavorless, bland, and the meat was AWFUL. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

In general, their dishes are delicious and they feature hard to find items like Double-fried pan noodles. My only negative feedback is that the egg rolls and pot stickers are under-sized and overpriced.
