Gave my daughter the Filets as her family loves and makes them frequently. She called and told me they couldn't even eat them. I felt so bad but I then asked if she had thrown in the garbage as my dogs would eat them. She said mom the dogs voikdnt eat them.
We did eat the burgers and they weren't bad but I have 2 more filets and a assortment of other steaks.
I spent 187.60 and I'm sick over it. These were bought in a mall parking lot that had a big tent area set up. The guy selling wasn't dressed in any uniform and had 2 young hidden with him. He said their mom was in rehab.

Absolutely the WORST steaks I’ve ever had! A total rip-off! I bought the “package” deal a few weeks ago. We had other steaks we needed to use up first, so today we finally had a chance to try these out. We decided on the “filets” for dinner. I may as well have been eating my boot!!! To say they were tough would insult the word tough. They were horrible! Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money!!!

Guy came to the door, purchased beef package. Maybe my wife is just a phenomenal cook but the filet mignon were terrific.

We purchased the steak package when a guy came to our door. We had company and served many of the steaks. They were terrible and I would never recommend them to anyone. If you want to stay in business, you better improve the quality because it is the most awful steaks I have ever purchased. If there is something worse than terrible, it would be far to the left. We all deserve a total refund.

I thought I was getting a good deal, considering the inflation, etc. I just cant believe you have the audacity to casually call these steaks "filets".....and you know what you're doing by saying filet and not finishing the phrase with mignon. When they say filet, they mean we took a circle cutter and cut circle shaped regular top sirloin style meat (close to in texture and mouth feel) in the shape of actually real filet mignon medallions. YOU ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF, JUST ADMIT ITS NOT FILET MIGNON. THATS WAS THE MAIN REASON I BOUGHT THE WHOLE BOX. You ever have to trim filet mignon, trim fat cap off filet mignon medallions? Yea, me neither.

Why someone would not question some push salesmen out of a derelict-looking white van rolling up to sell meat out of the cooler is beyond me. Bottom line is everything about this place appears questionable at the least. Salesmen in hoodies and hunting clothes knock on your door with this case of meat they're selling for 470 dollars (after some research I found out that it appears the salesmen out and about can charge whatever they want why others online get charged 150 dollars). The "meat" I was shown when compared to photos on the facebook page looks exactly the same. Literally every cut looks EXACT in terms of size and shape. Any pit boss worth their salt knows that every cut does not look the same. As I was trying to politely say no to spending 500 dollars on a case of meat that I didn't even have room for I figured at least one item possibly had potential - the pack of burgers (I would not in my right mind attempt to cook any of these "steak cuts" for anyone other human being). After numerous attempts to try and get this man to sell me just the pack of burgers I was told "we don't really do that we sell packages." Really? You appear desperate to sell me product but when I say I'd pay part of it that is an issue? "Salesman" was also weary about showing me the crinkled and creased pamphlet he was grasping in the cold December air, in which included the prices for each individual package of meat. Another thing - why is it that the menu/price lists for meats and packages are not readily available on a brochure or on the facebook page? On facebook they are visible constantly commenting about sending private messages with package and price details. EVERYTHING about this place causes you to QUESTION. If you are such a quality butcher business wouldn't I be aware of you and be able to physically come to your shop and purchase? Not at this place. Believe it or not few people want your "free delivery" or cold calls on our door steps. I bought my property to be left alone. My porch is an area of solitude to relax. It is not to hear your desperate sales pitches.
To conclude, I did get the "salesman" to sell me just the pack of burgers so that he would finally leave. I made my dog (who routinely eats garbage) a burger patty and even he refused to eat in accordance with several of the online reviews I have found of this product. Pitched the remainder in the trash.
Please do not come onto my property trying to peddle meat. I will be getting into touch with my local borough to see if this place has proper licensing to be going door to door in my area.
1. Sketchy mode of transportation.
2. "Salesmen" in attire that boomers that sit in bars watching KDKA news on Tuesdays wear.
3. Prices/lists/menus not readily available.
4. Storage of product in sketchy delivery vehicles may be possible health department infringements.

Showed me a box of meat in the truck and swapped out some of the beef items for shrimp and took 2 t bone steaks out of the box of 4 while I was getting the money. It's a RIP OFF scam. Reporting to Monroeville police.

Guys show up in our driveway in a van with Maryland plates as our family and dogs were at the pool. One of our dogs were clearly agitated and the moron refused to get back in the van and leave our property when they were told to leave multiple times. Our community states you must have a permit to solicit which they didn’t and the police have been notified.
I strongly suggest that you never come back to our home and when asked to leave someone’s property you leave immediately.

Well two gentleman knocked at my door 2weeks ago so I thought I would try some meats. I got New York Strips/ T-Bone Steaks / New York strip was very good . THE BBQ CHICKEN WAS AWFUL 😭 THE BBQ DIDN'T TAST LIKE BBQ. THE WORST CHICKEN MY HUSBAND AND I EVER HAD. THE CHICKEN BREAST WERE VERY VERY SMALL.. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CHICKEN.

Excellent. I wrote a more detailed review on the CA company page. If Shrek is my delivery person, fine. I just want high quality meats, sealed at the factory, and delivered to me by anyone , regardless of their appearance, as long as the seem clean. The overhead of purchasing new vehicles and uniforms drive the final costs up a lot and therefore defeats the hope of selling/buying this quality at this price. Nobody has ever been rude. But I am in Pittsburgh PA, and what I perceive as rudeness is probably what most others call rudeness. To me, Pittsburghers have good manners and common courtesy and a willingness to help anyone who asks or seems to need it. We expect nothing in return except a "thanks".....one might say that without that thanks we wont do much more business. We also like you to say please. Please and thanks! Simple.
