Where do I even start. My family had been going to Shorr’s Bakery for over 40 years. This new Father and Son Bakery does NOT do it justice!! Don’t waste your time. Service is horrible, the donuts are NEVER the same twice, in quality, size and flavor. For a place that just opened its dirty and scungy looking. The service is one of two things, either there’s no one in there and they are hurrying you or there’s no one in there and they ignore you. I bought a cake a Thanksgiving and called just to make sure it was done since they had newly opened, it took them a half an hour on the phone to say they did. After taking it home, it was half yellow half white almond, which I did not order and never heard of in my life. Went back in December for a birthday and the cake had red colored icing around the entire sides(that I didn’t ask for) and it turned everyone ones mouth red. The cake was definitely under cooked. Thought I’d try one last time and ordered a cake for my sons 14th bday. The cake was not iced on one side, it was completely lopsided and worst of all wet and mushy inside. It was BARELY cooked and no one would eat it. I had to throw out his entire cake!!! Please DON NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Go to Lincoln bakery, Dudts, Kretchmars or Oakmont.
