Today, we finally tried Jean's Soul Food in Wilkinsburg. The hours are a bit peculiar, open from 2pm to 7pm on Sundays and just for breakfast on Saturdays from 9am to 11:30am. The atmosphere felt more like Sunday supper at church with a preacher leading grace before we dug into the delicious buffet, featuring fried chicken, whiting, ribs, and more for $12.00. The food was fantastic, especially the perfectly fried chicken and whiting, along with standout dishes like mac and cheese, collard greens, and the unique mustard BBQ wings. If you're in the East End, definitely give Jean's a try for a satisfying Sunday meal.
