Frankie's serves an incredible hot sausage sandwich that instantly took me back to my childhood visits to Pittsburgh, with its soft bun and perfectly seasoned sausage smothered in onions and peppers. The friendly staff added to the experience by customizing our foot-long with kraut and toppings exactly how we wanted, creating a simple yet unforgettable meal. Despite the no-frills, old-school vibe, the flavors are anything but ordinary, and the prices make it easy to keep coming back for more.

That hot sausage sandwich at Frankie's is legit! The foot longs are fire when they're a little crispy on the outside. So good, man.

In the burgh. I have been eating at frankie's since the sandwiches were [ 30 cents ] a piece. For myself since the mid sixties. Um Um good 😋ðŸ˜
