06/12/2025 - Kalie B.
How Lee offers classic Squirrel Hill Chinese dishes with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that remind me of Chinatown. The menu features spicy options like Chongqing fried dry hot chicken and comforting soups like West Lake minced beef, all cooked with great wok technique. Service is efficient and culturally typical, though the interior could use some modernization to better reflect the quality of the food.

This Chinese joint in Sq Hill is a classic spot, a bit greasy but that's part of its charm. The food is really good, especially the lightly fried gen zsos chix - a must-try if you enjoy a mix of sweetness and spice. The service is friendly, but avoid going near closing time as they might not serve you in person. The interior could use a bit of a refresh, but the delicious food more than makes up for it. Overall, worth a visit for some authentic Chinese cuisine.
