As a frequent visitor, I finally met Chuck and experienced what I consider the best service I've ever received, complemented by a cozy German ambiance with warm wooden walls, friendly patrons, and thoughtful touches like hooks for jackets and scarves. The menu offers authentic, delicious food such as bratwurst, knackwurst, and Bavarian pretzels, paired with an impressive beer selection, including unique options like banana beer served in a boot, all served promptly in a lively, unpretentious setting that brings a true taste of Germany to Portland.
