Stepping into Darcelle XV's show is like hopping into a time machine fueled by fierce queens with decades of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent-definitely not your typical glitzy drag extravaganza. The intimate setting crams you in close enough to catch every wink and sassy quip, making it impossible not to get pulled into the lively crowd interaction and hilarious roasts. Between the strong drinks, classic performances, and the legendary Darcelle herself commanding the stage at 92, it's an unforgettable night of old-school drag magic that leaves you grinning ear to ear.

During my recent visit to Portland, my group and I had the pleasure of experiencing Darcelle's, a traditional cabaret-style drag show venue. The performers exuded an old-school charm that was nostalgic and endearing, unlike the more mainstream drag shows I've attended in the past. The intimate setting, strong drinks, and engaging performances made for a memorable evening that I would recommend to anyone seeking a unique and entertaining night out.
