Under new ownership as of 10/1/17.
Phill and Lisa are passionate about service, quality, and partnering with local food producers. OK, they're not Brits, as the previous owners were, so the British culture won't be as defined, and they lack the accent. However, if several Futball or Cricket fans crowd the bar, no doubt they can win the TV program choice.
They plan some gradual changes... but expect to retain the best of the old pub, (still no deep fryer,) expand the menu with some exciting new offerings, and bring in some of the extensive local town history to the decor of the dining areas.
One could say that it will be a cultural bridge across the big pond. [by family of the owners]
