As of February 2024, the restaurant is closed and up for sale or lease, with the beer garden open only on weekends. Bent Shovel in Estacada used to offer great food, good drinks, and a wonderful outdoor setting with views of Mount Hood, making it a favorite stop after hikes and a local spot where friendly service and tasty dishes like brisket and shishitos really stood out.

The Bent Shovel in Estacada has a great beer garden that's only open on weekends now. The food and service were really good, and the setting with the twinkling lights under the huge trees was lovely.
