07/12/2014 - Mike
Put on the brakes!!! Woe!!
Was excellent. Wifey calls me, "hunny, can you go get our favorite at HOT II?"
Sure hun. Hum, that's strange, bunch of fliers on the windows. Humm, that's stranger, a new name. Everything else inside looked the same. Even the lucky Chinese cat.
But wait! Where is that friendly Korean woman that speaks fast and works hard? The couple in front of me order. I am still trying to figure it out. I ask the couple if the owner is different. They don't know, but start to look nervous as well. So, they decided to order. Ok, I want to know whats going on. " Where is the Korean woman, I ask?"
"Oh they quite. They moved to Hawaii." I looked back in the back in disbelief. Two Mexican guys chopping up some chicken. Was I rude to leave? Not only was i in shock, but if I want Teriyaki, I want someone like the great Chinese cook they had at the original HOT ii. If I want burritos, Mexicans bring it own. It's like being served Sushi by a white guy.. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, please come back to Portland. We miss you already..
