Howell's offers a mellow atmosphere with friendly staff and consistently good food, from breakfast burritos to chicken fried steak, all at reasonable prices. Despite its dated setting, the restaurant is clean and welcoming, with attentive service that makes it a reliable choice for any meal.

Today was our first time back for many month's after the COVID started. You would think the owners would've wanted all visitors experience to be fabulous, not the case!!!
The favorite burger meal that we remembered was a cold disaster. Not Jerry fault!!! The waitress, the owners daughter, left our burgers and fries sitting while she counted money and checks as she was switching out for the evening with the next server on schedule.
When we mentioned that our fries were really cold, she asked if we wanted them to be put back in the fryer for warming.... NO!!! ... especially during this pandemic.
I also caught this gal refilling our drinks (in the same reused glasses) as she touched our reused ice to the spigot of the vodka and cranberry bar container. Very gross and unexpected especially during this deadly pandemic!!!
We have been regular customers for years, and we will NEVER be visiting Howell's again. Very disappointing meal and cocktails.

Ordered chicken fried steak it was the worst I have ever eaten. It was round steak with flour beaten into it then fried black, when I tried to cut it the meat separated was about quarter inch. The cook was a joke. We heard him pounding the flour in.
