This is the best fast food chicken, maybe even the best fast food. Their red beans and rice are dynamite! They also have different side dishes and it's great for white people get have a taste of tasty soul food items like sweet potato pie. But....there is something about Popeye's service. I have been to Popeye's across the country and every time you go in they will mess up something on your order. DON'T ever try the drive through, it's even worse. I keep going back because it's so good. But I check my order as best I can before I leave the restaurant, but without opening all the boxes you don't know for sure until you get home what it is this time that they have screwed up. But where else can you get those red beans & rice???

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, I was mildly dissapointed. The chicken is OK, the biscuits are not great at all. My husband adores the red beans and rice which is the only reason I ever go there. KFC is much better.
