They are always so so friendly and helpful. Old school atmosphere & great food! My hubby & I go frequently. Oh good sized portions as well! A small mom & pop! Let’s keep them open and support their small business! Thanks fat Dave’s!

I love this place. if you want good, breakfast food with really friendly service, this is the place to go. My first time there, I had their chili omelet, I loved it. It's like eating at your parent's or eating with family. It is really quite a nice little place, in fact, getting carry out tonight, that's right, you can get carry out at this place!

Why I have ended my 34 year relationship with FAT DAVE”s in Vancouver Washington

Today I ordered and ate a fine omelet at Fat Dave’s. I paid $11 and some change (after tax) plus a two dollar tip before asking the waitress to add a biscuits and gravy and a sausage to go for my wife. The bill went up to $28 and some change.

What? Biscuits and gravy cost more than an omelet? That’s $16 more. So I say forget the sausage and give us the biscuits and gravy. The manager says the bill is $23 and some change. What? $11 dollars for biscuits and gravy? No thank you, and I left. She forgot to give me back my additional $20 bill I’d given for the new charge. It cost me $20 extra for nothing.

This place has devolved from the original reasons I started going there 34 years ago. Today I am ending my 34 years of eating at this establishment and never spending money there again.

I go there almost every Sunday morning for breakfast and the food is always delicious. The service is great and everyone is extremely friendly... I have taken friends during the day , at times, and they always raved about both the quality and quantity of the food...Have never had a problem...Great food at a great price...

The last couple times I have come here, I have found hair in my food. HAIR!!!!!! I'm disappointed and afraid to eat there again. It seems to me that you have been reusing food from someone else's dinner plates. That is gross. Hair should be pulled back or covered with a PROPER head attire not a bandana that looks appropriate for work. Until you have this all figured out PROPERLY, I will refuse to go back there and eat. If I was a real mean person I can turn you in to the health department.

Wow, sooooo many reviews concerning fat daves, we eat there all the time, great food, excellent server staff, and how could you judge the building, its 30yrs old, if you want to eat high end, then maybe you should be at Apple Bees, or the country kitchen, this is a small ma,pa place, and yu get way more food than you pay for. And the prices are right to!

Went for breakfast. Ok eggs and lots of hashbrowns. If your hungry and don't care about the surroundings then this is the place for you. I like Fatty Patty's up the street a lot better surroundings.

Excellent place! Food is great, good prices, good atmosphere as long as your not looking for anything to high brow. Great comfort food after a night of partying.

Note: the menu has changed from the one pictured.

Love the food!!! I hate similar places because it's so greasy, but this food isn't! We come every now and then for many years and have never had a problem.

Great taste, good price with large serving sizes. I would have given 5 stars, but there is waitress always there who always looks angry and is a little cranky, but I just ignore and enjoy my meal!

A huge amount of food for the money. Favorite is the patty melt. Onions grilled just right, close to a 1/2 lb. of good tasting hamburger and an enormous amount of hearty non greasy french fries.
