What a great experience! We have been in Vancouver for almost 5 years and never visited the restaurant so when our friends from Wisconsin came we decided to try it. We had such a great time and our chef was so funny and enjoyable. The waitress was also very efficient and we will be returning again.

We love this palace. The decor could be brighter. The food is great! The staff is great!

The rice really was a disappointment, but the rest of our experience was quite pleasant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our family of two adults and two very small children.

The grilled food was very good and the chef was entertaining. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" is true here. If you are expecting fabulous cuisine for $15/plate, your expectations are too high, but if you are looking for an entertaining night out, good food, and a family environment other than Applebee's, this is a good place.

We ate there last night. There were 4 of us at the grill and we had a very humorous chef. He had a patter going that was worthy of a comedy club. Our food was served hot and very tasty. We plan on returning. For those that complained about seating issues, perhaps you should look at the day/time you went. Probably a standard busy dinner hour rush time. And it does state very clearly on the menu that refills are a $1. One just needs to read the standard print in the drinks area. We went early on a Friday night and the place was filling up when we were leaving. We went looking for fun and good eats and got both.

I love the friend rice it is the best in town and if you go to any other restaurant like fujis is not good as this I would also recommend lunch it is very cheap and they serve noddles and friend rice .

My son thinks this is the greatest place on earth and has written a 7th grade essay on this establishment being fit for a king. The service is friendly, food pretty standard for a Japanese restaurant, but you can't miss with steak and lobster. Just hope that it thrives in this economy!

This was by far the worst service I have ever had. Our family came to celebrate a birthday, mind you there were seven of us, and we were forced to sit at a grill with four other people. Sitting with others was not a big deal except it was over crowed and the server could not get to everyone, nor could she count. There was either too many plates or not enough drinks. At one point she even forgot to bring the four other people at the table their soups and salads, who were there 45 minutes before us, and we got ours until 30 minutes after we sat down.

To make matters worse, the cooks were very short handed, three cooks for 5 seated grills! Our family sat for an hour until our cook finally came out to us, the other people at our table had sat for two hours!!! Although our cook was trying, much of our food was over cooked and tasteless.

I was especially unhappy when we received our checks. The server girl had all of our orders mixed up and refused to mix them and then tells us at the cashier that they charge $1 per refill!!! A $1 a refill! WHERE IN THE MENU DID IT SAY THAT? and wouldn't it have been nice for her to tell us that when we were ordering our first refill? Heck, they do that at Red Robin crying out loud, but they tell you.

After much frustration and paying for our ridiculous checks, I will NEVER go here again. What a waste of time!

We love to celebrate birthdays and special days here. The food is excellent, the kids love the rice. We have always been entertained and well taken care of. My daughter has celebrated her birthday here for 3 years now and we keep coming back. The chefs can be very funny while they cook your food at the table!

This is the best place in town to eat the scallops are so yummy everytime I drive bye there All I think about is there yummy scallops .very friendly happy people and very fast service great food for the price and you get so much you will never leave there hungry..they just need to avertize more to get more people nowing about it ..I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH I could eat there daily .
