My husband and I have been going to the “Lobster Cooker” for at least 15 years. We stop there every time we travel or go to LL Beans about 6 to 8 times a year. We always looked forward to having your delicious seafood.
I don’t know what happened, if you go a new cook, or just do not care anymore. Our last meal there, July 28, 2016 was terrible. The clams were way over cooked. They were tough and greasy. French fries were soggy, the scallops were also greasy. Maybe they were put under a food lamp for too long. Either way, we were disappointed to say the least.
We always got small portions but the seafood was always excellent and that kept us coming back. We do not know what happened this time but we are definitely not going back. We always eat on the road and this was one of our favorite stops.
If you are a new owner, I would advise you to find another good chef or someone who knows how to cook seafood.
Thank you for all the good years that we did have. I wish you luck because the way that your food tastes now, you’ll need it.
