My wife and I can't get enough of the pizzas and Italian subs from Amato's. While the order process can sometimes be a bit shaky due to new staff, the food always makes up for it. When another place failed to fulfill a large order last minute, Amato's swooped in and saved the day with delicious salads and sandwiches delivered on time. The Double Italian sandwich suggested by Joleen has become my new favorite - it's a whole new level of sandwich goodness at a great price. If you're in southern Maine, definitely check out Amato's for some authentic and delicious Italian eats.
