The food and service here are fantastic, and I ended up eating there twice during my short trip to PEI. After a concert, I was thrilled to find the kitchen still open, and the doorman was really nice about letting us order takeout from the busy bar. The chicken wings are a must-try, but fair warning: they taste amazing but might have you regretting it the next morning!

The service at Hinter's was impeccable, matched only by the delicious food that satisfied our hunger after an evening concert. Despite the bustling bar, the doorman kindly allowed us in for takeout, showcasing both good service and quality food. The hunters size poutine was a standout dish, complemented by the enjoyable live music that added to the overall dining experience.

Very disappointing experience after hearing good things about this place. Ordered Spinach dip: awful. Only bunches of spinach and a tiny bit of cheese. Poor presentation as well. Fish and chips: Uncooked fish, overcooked fries, slimy coleslaw. Pub steak was over cooked and very tough and although the potatoes were real,they were lumpy, unseasoned and cold.
Ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and it arrived in an "old fashioned" cocktail glass. Was awful. Returned it and they brought out the same concoction in what appeared to be a slushy. No salt, lime etc. Very pricy dinner for what we got. Dinner for one that was hardly touched was 44$ with tip. Unacceptable.
Service was ok. Good thing we had wonderful dinner companions-that saved the night.
