04/03/2011 - Party
I had a birthday party there and it was awful. I went the the place twice beforehand to view the room and setup and was told that the whole back side section would be just for my party and guests. When I got there , there were 3 tables of people eating in that area and the area was still being set up. It was 10 minutes before guests were to arrive. When I approached the manager about this, I was told, "Well I'm not going to lose money because you only have 20 people coming and are only serving appetizers. They will be gone within the hour." I was appauled by her response. Not only was that unprofessional, but rude. I had told the place I was getting appetizers from the beginning , but now told that because I didn't order the buffett I wasn't promised the whole room. It was awkward and impersonal to have other families eating right where my suprise birthday party was taking place. It took away seats from us and the last family didn't leave for an hour and a half. Then my husband asked if he can have boxes for us to take his cake home (which I payed for and had done by an outside vendor) and was told no, we don't have boxes. So I went down to the mamanger and demanded boxes fot the cake I paid for. She did provide that for me. Overall food is ok, but I would never have an evet there again. I was not impressed with the overall atmosphere, or the food that night. Big waste of money
