WE left our home early on Sunday Morning December 22, 2018 to help with our grandkids in Springville. Didn't feel much like eating before we left home and decided we go to IHOP on the way home. Stopped at Wall-Mart across the parking lot and had receipt in hand time stamped at 12:48. It was not five minutes till we were parked in front of IHOP, so figure no later than 1:00 p.M. Went in got seated gave our drink orders, and sometime later ordered our food. Nothing exotic just senior menu items. We waited a full 45 minutes before anyone came to tell us it would be a few minutes more. I told the waitress we had things to do when we got home and had no more time. She said if we could wait a few more minutes our food would be out. What were they doing killing the pig to get the bacon. Come on. No we did not wait and told people coming in if they didn't have an hour to kill to forget it. I have e-mailed corporate and did one review. I suspect no one cares because we have not had any contact by e-mail or phone. If you don't want senior citizens in your restaurant don't advertise a senior menu.. There was plenty of goofing off in the kitchen which we could see from where our seats were. We have no clue what was going on or why it took so long. The place was not packed and only a few people seated. We have gotten to where if we have poor service or food we do not make a second attempt to patronize a restaurant. This was totally unacceptable, and unless and IHOP is our only choice we will not even try another one!!!!!
