I have a deep fondness for traditional Chinese pastries, and the opening of Fayda in Forest Hills has been a delightful addition for me. The bakery's appeal extends beyond the Chinese community, drawing in a diverse clientele, which was quite impressive to witness. The recent renovations have enhanced the visual appeal of the place, and the food offerings are not only delicious but also reasonably priced. However, the presence of numerous homeless individuals who occupy seats within the bakery detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience, leaving a somewhat disheartening impression.
