Craving some serious German comfort food, I showed up just before closing and was warmly welcomed despite the late hour-turns out, they don't mind a last-minute foodie like me! The chicken cutlet was hilariously huge, piping hot, and paired perfectly with a cheesy, addictive mac & cheese that deserves its own fan club. Between the friendly staff, a killer beer selection, and a cozy vibe that screams gemí¼tlichkeit, this joint nailed the whole Bavarian beer house experience right here in Astoria.
