Went to the Pasta Corral on Saturday July, 24 and can see why they say this is the best Pasta Restaurant in all of South Dakota. For starters I had the half and half which consisted of Fresh Alfredo and an Italian Sausage Red sauce over a corked screw pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente. The sauces melted in my mouth and why wouldn't it as I was waiting to order Margaret the cook and owner was finishing the fresh Alfredo and had Heavy Cream, Eggs, Butter that she was adding to this most excellent sauce.I asked her while I was watching her separate eggs, what her secret ingredient was. Margaret smiles and said she never tells what ingredients are in her best recipes except to family. Then she whispered that in her Alfredo, she adds a big dash of Nutmeg. Oh my, when I tasted it I can say, this was the best ever. It was served with Roasted Garlic bread that had melted mozzarella still bubbling on the bread when they brought it to my table. This could be the best pasta dish I ever had and I have been to Roma twice on business. After my excellente' meal I walked down to their trout pond and this experience was as good as the meal. Their Trout pond is incredible and a must see. Bottom Line, The Pasta corral has an amazing out door venue with Live music and this was an absolute divine eating experience that was fun and delicious. Also the most friendly experience ever. It was like family. The Pasta Corral in Nemo SD, also had live music that made the evening more incredible. This place is a must see and must eat dining experience. Simply the Best!
