The homemade flan here is exactly how I like it-coarse and heavy rather than smooth and slippery-and it's quickly become my favorite dessert. The food overall is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, with vegetarian options like the vegetable fajitas standing out for their variety and quality. The staff is attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere whether dining in a small group or celebrating a large gathering.

The food and margaritas are very very good, I was especially impressed by the owner Jose- who was also our waiter he was friendly and personable, and made us feel right at home!

I ordered a carne asada burrito for lunch and what I got was a bean burrito with a few pieces of grizzle thrown in. I assume the grizzle was there in order to call it "carne asada" as it did nothing for the flavor. There was a green sauce with a few orange flecks in it, which I hope was cheese, that was poured over the top making cutlery a necessity. This was unfortunate as my "carne asada" burrito came sans table ware and napkin. As luck would have it, I had a fork and knife at work so I dug in. The flavor was decidedly refried beans and green sauce with an occasional gobbet of chewiness. Del Tacos Del Combo burrito is far superior.
And I forgot to mention the service! When I arrived one of the two female servers asked if she could help. I told her my name and she headed for the kitchen. I watched as she stopped at a table and had some laughs with a couple patrons. She chatted it up for about five minutes before returning with my lunch. In the meantime, the second server asked me if I had paid and I said "Not yet". She tapped her computer screen a few times and then held out her hand. She didn't actually say anything, she just held out her hand. I laid a twenty in it and she gave me back a ten and a few coins, all without ever uttering a single word.
So I say "Adios", La Posada Real, and suggest you do the same.

Excellent food and service. I ordered takeout and the order was perfect. 4 out of 10 times most takeouts gets screwed up. Making me hungry as I type this.
