Well, we used to be regulars there - but after last night we will never go back there again!
they used to have $2 beers at the bar and we always go and have a drink at their bar (you get the point that the food is not the reason to go there) and last night the 4 of us started the night with our usual beers - since they have alot of beers on their menu we kept asking if the new beer we where trying was a $2 beer or a $3 beer and we were reasure they where $2.
after 6 beers (total for the table ;D ) the waiters came and said - you know they are $2.25 - to our surprise - since it does not show on the menu - it clearly says $2 and we keeped asking her about the $2 beers - once we said that we were misinformed and asked to talk to the manager - check it out : we got the shift superviser that tried to interogate us about how we were informed about the price and then the manager came and didn't talk to us - just handed us the bill!!! man -I mean we were shocked and embarassed, we paid the bill and put our coats on - well what do you know - 2 min after the manager was at our table the county sheriff and the Summit security boys came in to escort us out!
think Midnight Express in a shopping mall in Reno.
we also have a $12.5 coupon for dinner that the waitress handed us last time we were there - did I say regulars? and no they did not apply to the bill.
what a shame for the summit and Carino's employees.
We will not return there.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Reno...not any more. New Manager, new menu, new waiters/bartenders, (all look hispanic) spanish music now plays instead of Rat Pack, 40's romantic music. Used to be the best Wedge salad in Reno, now served with undercooked bacon that was ALL fat, yuck! I Love timballo...now its gone from the menu. Waiter, Eduardo, said they can still make it, so I said OK but hold the green peppers. He wrote it down, but brought it out with plenty of green peppers, but NO pepperoni! I sent it back. Supposed to be baked with mozzarella on top. When they brought it back out, it was just spaghetti quickly thrown in the pan covered in spaghetti sauce, still no pepperonis and definitely NOT baked. It was terrible. They are in the process of turning it into a sports bar, no longer any Italian feel to it. Will be a long while before I go back!
