Had a reservation at 7:30 and showed up 10 min early. The hostess told us our table would be ready shortly. At 7:40 the hostess had sat other tables of two ahead of us and when we asked what was going on she said it wasn't "our" table.
After working as a hostess I can tell you that a table for two is a table for two. It was upsetting to see that other people who happen to be dressed nicer got seated first. We decided to leave after waiting so long and not getting sat.
