What a find! Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse was our first stop when arriving in Reno because we read the reviews and then saw the banner at the Reno airport and picked up a brochure. The food is just as they advertised, fresh and delicious. The place is nice, clean and the staff are very attentive. We were greeted with a smile and our server Troy was great! He took very good care of us. The food on the buffet was so fresh looking and tasting. There were so many great hot dishes along with salads and imported cheeses. There are beautiful chandelier's that light up the place. We tasted so many delicious meats that were brought to the table by several different Gaucho servers. They sliced the meats and we used tongs to serve ourselves. The meats are cooked with rock salt which is the Brazilian way, but we found chimichurri sauce on the buffet that looked and tasted like it was made fresh which really brought out the flavor in the meats. We really had a great time. We highly recommend Churrasco as a stop when coming into the Reno, NV area. The food is so delicious!! Especially the caramel cheesecake! Love, love!

After seeing that this restaurant was rated as "One of the best restaurants in Reno", my wife and I decided to fly to Reno from Denver to have my birthday dinner there tonight. That was a huge mistake. I won't be overly critical, but the waiter/server/manager (not sure what his title was but he was dressed differently than the other staff) literally ignored our entire existence. No water refill, no check-in with us, not even eye contact. When I asked for the check, he walked away without so much as an acknowledgment and presented desserts to 2 other tables before giving us the check. Towards the end, one of the gauchos finally asked if we had any specific meat/temp preferences (something we are used to being asked towards the beginning of the experience by the waiter in other similar restaurants). Other tables seemed to enjoy themselves and the attention of the server, so you may get lucky. The upside is that my wife agreed to extend the visit through the weekend so I can visit other steakhouses.

The Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse is by far the absolute best we've ever had in Northern Nevada. I rarely give five starts, but Churrasco earned perfect scores on every aspect of the meal.
Make sure to pace yourself, and only get what you will absolutely want from the salad bar. Once you turn the token green, the assortments of meat will visit you faster than you can pick up the fork. Everything from lamb, chicken, pork, and eight cuts of beef including filet and Picanha.
So. Much. Meat!
