I enjoy ordering takeout from this establishment rather than dining in, as the portion sizes are generous. The quirky decor, including dusty velvet paintings and crooked pictures, adds to the charm of the place. The food quality can vary depending on the chef, but I suggest trying the vegetarian menu item, Poncho's Jumbo, with sour cream and enchilada sauce. The prices are reasonable, and the experience of sitting near the kitchen adds an element of surprise.

We went opening weekend (April 1st) and it was super busy. We had to wait a while in line and then once we got seated as well, but it was opening weekend and the family is known for their excellent food. So we knew we needed patience and it was well worth it. The food was excellent as always. The wait staff did their best to provide the best service they could. Glad to have you back in Port Huron!!
