The food at Lil Chef never disappoints, with great coney-style options and excellent service. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lasagna and the overall experience.

Well this was terribly disappointing. I ordered a carryout and the woman said she'd bring it curbside. Within 3 minutes of being parked outside facing the building, I watched 3 guests enter and walk through the establishment without a mask in sight. Then I saw the woman who took my order/only employee that I could see walk up to the front counter, greet guests, and answer my second phone call to cancel without a mask as well.
WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC! It's not political, it's science. I'm so glad I saw this unfold as I'm 37 weeks pregnant with twins and getting induced in two days. Nah, not high risk or anything.

Having confirmed by your staff that you are not abiding by the Covid-19 restrictions, my friends and I will not be dining at your establishment.

Always great food and pleasant staff! Family run. Miss the one they had in Saginaw, glad they still have the Brighton location. Stop in every time I'm in town. Love getting a POT of coffee so I don't have to keep asking for refills!

Food aside, you need to know who you are supporting as a business owner. I had a friend, who has served this country for many years, dine at "Lil' Chef" in Brighton, Michigan on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and this was his experience ( On Memorial Weekend No Less).
His experience:
At a restaurant last night [Lil' Chef] the owner was complaining about how dead they were. He said "Memorial Day. What's the big deal. It's not that important of a holiday." I stopped in the middle of my meal, paid my bill, and promptly left, never to return there again. I wanted to tell him what it was all about, but it would've fallen on deaf ears. Thank you my fellow veterans, past and present."
The decision is yours, but remember there has been many soldiers in the last 234 years that have risked or given their lives for us to live as freely as we do. May God Bless and keep our Soldiers, past, present and future in his arms.
